Walt Disney Dreams: Next-Generation Theme Park Concept & Blue-Sky Master Plan
To redefine the boundaries of the theme park guest experience, I developed a comprehensive blue-sky concept for an entirely new Disney "gate" centered on the birthplace of imagination: the human brain. Moving beyond standard linear park layouts, the master plan introduces a top-down cerebral architecture where the iconic "Cortex Colonnade" serves as a central hub, ringed by highly immersive lands and an industry-first internal perimeter berm.
Every facet of this project bridges hand-sketched conceptual illustration [completed within Procreate] with disruptive guest experience design. I drafted an entirely new, variable ticketing engine that empowers guests to dynamically customize their day, micro-targeting specific lands like Figment’s Fairway or night spectaculars via prorated premiums. By marrying spatial master planning in Procreate with advanced, multi-tenant digital design logic, this master plan addresses both the creative legacy and the future operational efficiency of the Disney Parks ecosystem.

To design a theme park that feels completely intuitive yet functionally unprecedented, I bypassed linear layout tropes and looked inward—drawing direct structural inspiration from the architecture of the human brain.
Using a top-down cerebral view to engineer the macro flow of the park, I developed a master plan centered around the Cortex Colonnade. This central community hub serves as a high-energy focal point that anchors the surrounding localized micro-lands.
Frictionless Guest Dynamics
An immersive physical environment must be supported by an equally intelligent business architecture. To solve modern guest friction, I designed a decentralized, flexible ticketing engine that completely upends the rigid, full-day park model.
For the first time, guests can dynamically customize their theme park footprint via the Disney Parks App—building a custom itinerary based on real-time availability, select premium attractions, and designated time blocks.

The crown jewel of the theme park master plan is an omni-technical nighttime spectacular engineered to redefine live entertainment: Walt Disney Dreams: Points of Light.
This complex theatrical production merges an unprecedented technological toolkit—combining high-velocity pyrotechnics, synchronized water screens, projection meshes, lasers, and a swarm of thousands of autonomous drones into one unified sensory experience.
