One with Your Traffic – Rescuing the Hero Campaign Video

When an external vendor bottlenecked Fasly's 'Performance@Scale' flagship video, I stepped in as the project's Creative Director to rapidly pivot the failing project. Taking the project in-house also reduced overall cost by 83%.

Within 24 hours, I off-boarded the vendor with our procurement team, restructured the production pipeline, and partnered with a specialized filmmaker to rewrite, shoot, and deliver a high-impact hero asset in just five days — safeguarding the campaign launch timeline without sacrificing brand quality.

Bringing "Performance at Scale" to life required an equally scalable production workflow. Mirroring Fastly’s own infrastructure, we built an agile pipeline capable of deploying the video assets across global touchpoints seamlessly.

 

We developed an adaptable design framework that allowed the video content to morph effortlessly between wide-screen event keynotes, website hero backgrounds, and bite-sized social cuts.
